As if Florence weren't enough, we planned a trip to Bologna. It's always exciting to take a train trip with minimal gear - just enough clothes and gear for a weekend.

We settled in to our apartment (we’re getting really good at this now) and we have a trip coming up in a few days for Bologna.

We said goodbye to Tirana, Albania in the morning and after two non-eventful flights (yay!) we got our luggage and took a cab to our apartment in el Centro Storico of Florence.

Christmas Day in Kotor
Christmas is always a home-spun affair for us. We make our own tree, and we celebrate in a way that might echo local traditions from wherever we are. Bring on the Christmas piñata!
