The Plovdiv State Puppet Theatre has lots of shows for kids and we’ve seen two so far, “Fantasy Sea” and “The Queen of Spades“. The great thing is it doesn’t matter that we can’t speak Bulgarian much at all – the puppets’ actions speak louder than words.
We thought, why don’t we make our own puppet show after seeing The Queen of Spades; it’s such a fun and complete activity. We designed all the set, the rocket and even tied strings to the kids’ stuffed animals for characters. Watch how the kids got into it:
