While we are on this journey Alice and I are charged with teaching the kids. We are provided correspondence school materials and support through Te Kura in Wellington, but after that, it’s up to us to make sure the kids are learning at a regular pace.
No slacking off for us! 🙂
Now that I’m not working in an office I’ve got a lot more time to be with the kids. Alice and I have a system, I work 4 hours then teach and hang out with the kids for 4 hours, and we alternate. At least that’s the plan/how it’s supposed to work. Things don’t always go to plan!
I had my first session with them yesterday (Thursday) and it was awesome! Here’s to more good things to come.
